This contributed by Mark Dreiling "the 'Dreiling' coin. In German, the ending '-ling' is like '-lets' in English. Triplet and quadruplet translate to dreiling and vierling, etc. The 'ling' tacks on to any German number neatly and is another reason why German scientific literature worked so well in math and science. It is only separated on some old coins where there was not enough space."
